Big Apple is suing Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google (YouTube), Snap and TikTok for having harmed the mental health of its young people.
Clearly, these tech giants are accused of having “
designed, developed, produced, operated, promoted, distributed and “marketed” their platforms to attract, capture and get young people addicted
”, in violation of New York legislation. .
The complaint, which comes from the City of New York, the city school board and local health departments, was filed in a Los Angeles court, these companies being headquartered in California.
