2 / 12The curious and affectionate Somali is a plush variant of its sister breed, the Abyssinian cat.
Their graceful appearance is based on long legs, an athletic build and an elegant neck.
Large eyes and ears give her an attentive expression.
Like the Abyssinians, the Somali cats are known for their distinctive dark color stripes.
This extends between the shoulders over the back to the tip of the tail.
The sole strip runs over the hind legs to the heel.
