With these words, the deputy prime minister and minister Matteo Salvini opened the meeting at the MIT on the update of the final project of the Bridge over the Strait.

The institutional meeting was held at the ministry to present the designer's report on the update of the definitive project of the stable connection between Calabria and Sicily.
Present, among others, were Salvini, the CEO of Stretto di Messina spa Pietro Ciucci, the president of Stretto di Messina spa Giuseppe Recchi, the presidents Renato Schifani (Sicilian Region) and Roberto Occhiuto (Calabria Region, in connection), the mayors of Villa San Giovanni (Giuseppina Caminiti) and Messina (FedericoBasile).
