Alessandro Miressi wins silver in the 100 freestyle at the swimming world championships in Doha.
In the final the Italian finished in second place with a time of 47.72 behind the Chinese Zanie Pan, who took gold in 47.53.
"I am among the best in the world in the 100m freestyle, I am very happy with this result. Now in view of the Olympics we have four months of hard work ahead of us. Our thoughts are in Paris and we need to think big."
