The spectacular documentary “Nawalny” impressively shows what a special person and fighter Navalny was.

Putin opponent Alexei Navalny is dead. The documentary film “Nawalny”, which opened the 37th Dok.Fest Munich in 2022, tells how unconditionally he always fought for human rights in Russia and against Putin’s policies.

The documentary, which was also shown in cinemas at the time, can now be seen on Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and Google Play.

The impressive film by Canadian director Daniel Roher follows Putin's fearless opponent Alexei Navalny from the Russian secret service's assassination attempt to his return to Moscow and his imprisonment.

The hours in which his wife Yulia Navalnaya fights for Alexei's life in the Russian hospital are particularly moving;

when he is rescued in the Berlin Charité and regains his strength in the Black Forest.
