After nearly eight years of legal battle, a source reportedly told
US Magazine
that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are “navigating the final red tape, which is a huge relief and a
morale boost.
”
The source reportedly added of the actor "it saddens him that he's not on better terms with some of his children, and that he regrets that things became so acrimonious with Angelina, but the time he watched towards the past with anger is behind him.

“A first-rate asshole”
The least we can say is that their respective relationships with their children are very different.
While Angelina Jolie told
WSJ Magazine
in December 2023 about her children “They are the closest people to me and my life, and they are my close friends.
We are seven very different people, that’s what makes us strong.”, Brad Pitt was described to him on Instagram by his son Pax as a “first-rate asshole”.
On Father's Day 2020, the 20-year-old young man, according to an Instagram story authenticated by the
Daily Mail
, had a funny way of celebrating this day.
On a photo of his father receiving an Oscar he reportedly wrote: “You have proven time and time again that you are a horrible and despicable person.
You have no consideration or empathy for your four youngest children, who tremble in fear in your presence.”
Before adding mysteriously: “You can tell yourself and the world what you want, but the truth will come out one day.”
