Open an information window to raise awareness of the growing role of Italian research in the European context and - vice versa - how Europe can contribute to the development of our country's research and innovation system.
The new agreement between the ANSA Agency and the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (Apre) was born with this objective, signed today by the director of Apre Marco Falzetti and the CEO of ANSA Stefano De Alessandri.
'Our objective - says Falzetti - is to encourage Italian participation in European research programmes.
We work in collaboration with the Ministry of University and Research and have over 150 associates, including public and private Italian universities, research bodies and an important component of the industrial reality of our country.
All entities participating in the Horizon Europe 2021-2027 research programme.
Apre therefore represents a sort of junction, Falzetti points out, 'between Italy and Europe in the context of large research programmes'.
And there are many hot topics that will be developed by this and the next European Framework Programme, from Artificial Intelligence to issues related to privacy in medicine and science.
Topics that also represent challenges from the point of view of dissemination.
'Communicating will be crucial, considering that in the European Framework Programmes, Italy is always in the top five countries in terms of participation and returns, but we could do more,' says Falzetti.
