Four episodes, two studio guests and external links.

The Library of Sentiments returns on February 17th, the Rai3 program that starts from books to focus on themes that touch the human soul and current events, but without Maurizio De Giovanni who cannot be there "because he is not going through a good time of health" as the writer's staff announced in a post on his official account.

The new season of the programme, created by the Day Time Entertainment management at Rai-Cptv in Naples, becomes a weekly appointment, on Saturday afternoons at 4.30pm and sees the TV hosting debut of the poet and landscape expert Franco Arminio who will open and close the appointments with two monologues.

Many new features but the formula remains unchanged, always with Greta Mauro and a group of university students, who this time will be four in each event.

The issues related to the sphere of feelings addressed with guests in the studio are closer to today.

We start from money with Melissa Melissa Panarello and her 'Story of my money', which has just arrived in bookstores and the entrepreneur Oscar Farinetti with '10 moves to face the future'.

Then it will be the turn of social media, old age and food.

"In the monologues I will use various styles. De Giovanni's were more narrative. I will also read some poetry. The TV language is direct, essential and since I am looking for a direct route towards the reader in this case it will be towards the viewer. This opportunity is online with the work I'm doing. Follow the straightest path possible" Arminio tells ANSA. In the first closing episode, the poet announces, "I will make a sort of list of things, a sort of decalogue on money. I will always change. That what I do at the beginning I don't do it at the end, what I do in one episode I won't do in the other. I hope we have a duration. In reality the words seem to wear out, but if they are well done they can remain in the future for a long time air" explains Arminio who will also bring his soul as a landscape expert to the programme.

"Mine is a writing linked to the body, it is not an abstract, opinion-based writing" he says.

And about his debut, host Ida: "It's a great challenge because you have to use a language suited to that medium. I'm not one of those who abhors TV. For me the fundamental thing is to talk to people. For a writer the important thing is to innovate If one has more experiences, one improves."

The second appointment will be dedicated to social media with guests Marcello Veneziani and the young author and writer Alice Urciuolo, who will talk about their books, respectively Scontenti.

Why we don't like the world we live in and The truth about us.

"We have taken a journey through primary feelings, anger, fear, nostalgia, hatred, happiness. This time we are looking for feelings in the modern era. Central themes in the story of today's man" explains Greta Mauro.

The program, written by Andrea Di Consoli, Luciana Maurizi, Francesca Di Rocco and Flavia Piccinni, "went well, we are not looking for ratings. It is a choral broadcast, of human culture. In this way many things come out. It is It was wonderful to see how the boys and girls used Crime and Punishment to talk about the feeling of guilt or Mody Dick for courage. Each episode will last seven or eight minutes less than the first season."

The correspondents Selenia Orzella and Yari Selvetella will connect in the first episode with Umberto Broccoli "who will talk about money in Italian songs and musical culture. The poet and writer Alba Donati will show us her bookshop in Tuscany" announces Greta Mauro.

The boys and girls "are not a choreographic element. In all broadcasts they should be given space" argues Arminio who sympathizes with the theme of old age which "is always demonized both on a social and individual level".

And also for the topic of food: "I am the son of an innkeeper, I can say many things. I will approach it from the point of view of good food for everyone" while money is the topic "that bothers me the least because it takes you away from joy".
