When F1 and music collaborate.

Monegasque Charles Leclerc announced Thursday, on social networks, the release of four songs in collaboration with Lille pianist Sofiane Pamart.

The EP, titled

Dreamers

, is available on all platforms as of Friday.

The red color on the project's cover is reminiscent of Ferrari, with which Charles Leclerc has just extended his contract.

This is not the first time that the racing driver has surprised his fans with music.

In the spring, he revealed his second passion, the piano, by publishing a first piece entitled

AUS23 (1:1)

.

The title being an obvious reference to the 2023 Australian Grand Prix, which was held in April.

In just a few days,

AUS23 (1:1)

exceeded one million plays on the streaming platform Spotify.

Almost a year later, Charles Leclerc returns with an EP composed with Sofiane Pamart, in just a few days.

“I enjoyed every second of this moment

,” confides the young man on X.

“I spent two days in the studio with Sofiane and we worked on four songs.

I am very proud of the result.”

“Limited edition”

vinyls

as well as

“piano sheet music of the songs”

will be available soon.

The collaboration is surprising but is not so surprising when we know that Sofiane Pamart has a habit of breaking the codes.

In the past, the 33-year-old pianist, trained at the Lille conservatory, has already joined forces with big names in French-speaking rap such as SCH, Koba La D, Zola and Laylow.

But this duo with a Formula 1 driver is a great first.

In November 2022, Sofiane Pamart became the first solo pianist to fill the Accor Arena in Bercy.

On his Instagram account, the artist couldn't help but hide his joy:

“Three years ago, no one believed in my dreams.

I can't blame anyone and I understand.

Because it really seemed impossible.

[...] My first solo album went gold.

My first international tour is sold out.”

Two years later, the pianist is still out and about, this time to celebrate the release of his third solo album,

Noche

.
