A teenager from Gaza was shot dead by Hamas agents at the Rafah crossing, between the Strip and Egypt, while he was trying to recover food from trucks carrying humanitarian aid.
Channel 12 reports this, explaining that following the boy's death, riots broke out with thousands of Palestinian demonstrators shouting against Hamas and attacking trucks carrying food.
Video footage shows gunshots and explosions near the crossing, Israeli and Palestinian media report.
Ynet adds that the young man killed was called Muhammad al-Araja.
Hamas denied the incident.
