Not “mature enough”

They have a beautiful love story, but something is wrong.
"Even though he was in his twenties, I was in my early thirties, it still wasn't... We weren't ready to face it, to look at each other and say that this that we had is real, that we had to buckle down, that we had to work,” she explained.
“We just weren’t there yet.

However, the couple plans to get married the following year.
A marriage which was ultimately annulled, and led to the separation of the couple a few months later.

Life without each other
For almost two decades, the two artists continued their lives and had children.
A passage that the singer does not keep quiet during her interview.
“We found other people, and we had beautiful children, and we had other families, and then we even had other relationships after that.”
Jennifer Lopez had twins Emme and Maximilian, now 15, with Marc Anthony.

In 2021, to everyone's surprise, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reformed their iconic couple, after nearly twenty years of separation.
Very quickly followed by a surprise wedding in Las Vegas the following year.
In his interview, Jlo confides in his state of mind at the time of their reunion.
“It wasn't until we both did, certainly on my part, a lot of work on ourselves and we got to a point where I said, 'You know what?
I'm perfectly fine on my own.
I'm serene, I love my life, I have this incredible career that I've built for myself, I have these incredible children... I have very good friends.'
