The Kremlin's armed forces hoisted Russian flags in the center of Avdiivka, a city in eastern Ukraine that was stormed by Putin's army and which, according to the president's indications, must be conquered before the presidential elections in March.
This was reported by the Russian site Mash, close to the country's secret services.
The white-red-blue flags were placed on the war memorial at the site of the mass grave of Soviet Southern Front soldiers killed in combat in 1943.
