The Colombian star will make his comeback.
Singer Shakira announced this Thursday, February 15 on her Instagram account the upcoming release of her new album on March 22.
Called “Las mujeres ya no lloran” (Women no longer cry), it is her twelfth studio album and the first since “El Dorado” in 2017.

“By writing each song, I rebuilt myself”
“Creating this body of work was an alchemical process,” Shakira said in her post.
“By writing each song, I was rebuilding myself.
By singing them, my tears turned into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength,” she explained, statements that echo her separation from footballer Gerard Piqué made official in June 2022 after twelve years of living together.
An opus “created with all of you, my pack of werewolves who supported me every step of the way,” she insisted in tribute to her fans.

This new album consists of sixteen tracks: eight new songs, a remix and seven singles released since 2022: “Music Sessions Vol.
53” with Bizarrap, “TQG” with Karol G, “Te Felicito” with Rauw Alejandro, “Copa Vacía” with Manuel Turizo, among others.
The names of the eight unreleased titles have not yet been revealed.
A vinyl release for the first time
As noted by the American media Variety, this album will be the first by the 47-year-old star to be released in vinyl format.
Several editions (CD and vinyl) will be available via different sales platforms, already highlighted on the singer's website.
The “Diamond” edition will go on sale worldwide, while the “Emerald,” “Ruby” and “Sapphire” editions will only be available online via the singer's website.
