A group of brigade members found the body of the man who had been wanted since last Monday, when he entered the waters of the San Antonio River in
Villa Carlos Paz
and disappeared in the middle of the flood.
The discovery occurred on Thursday afternoon, when during the searches, the victim's body was seen
floating about 400 meters from the so-called Uruguay Bridge
and was rescued by personnel from the Department of High Risk Units (DUAR).
According to spokespersons for the Córdoba Police, everything indicates that the man, 30 years old and whose identity was not released, was dragged by the current and when he drowned, he
would have been trapped
in the depths of Lake San Roque, sources in the investigation indicated. .
The case was alerted last Monday, in the afternoon, when he was seen entering the water of the San Antonio River, after leaving his bicycle and other belongings on the shore, and then disappearing when he was dragged by the current, as a result of the floods due to the rains in Villa Carlos Paz.
The DUAR deployed a search rescue operation, especially at the mouth of this river that feeds Lake San Roque, with the participation of tactical divers and different brigade members.
