On Thursday at noon, a tragedy shook the province of Corrientes.
An entire family, made up of a couple of police officers and their three minor children, lost their lives in a traffic accident on National Route 14. The family's destination was the city of
Misiones
.
However, the strong head-on impact against a truck transformed a trip from pleasure into pain.
The victims were identified as
Gabriel Robledo and his partner Cintia Roza
.
Robledo, a native of Capilla del Señor, in the Province of Buenos Aires, had worked in the Buenos Aires police and had a son with a previous partner.
At the time of the accident, he had the rank of sergeant and was part of the Patrol Command.
He was also a member of the
Exaltación de la Cruz Volunteer Fire
Department .
Roza, for his part, was also a sergeant and served in the Los Cardales delegation, in Exaltación de La Cruz.
He had met Robledo at the beginning of 2023.
After the tragedy, the message that Robledo had attached to his Facebook profile became known, a phrase that can be read as soon as his biography is opened.
A legend that can now be understood as
a premonition
: "I go everywhere with God,
if I don't come back it's because I went with him
..." This message, loaded with sad irony, now resonates with a painful echo.
After hearing the news of the tragic accident, friends of Robledo expressed themselves on social networks to send their condolences and say goodbye to him.
“Friend, how I'm going to miss you, the gatherings, the talks, the laughter...
You left too young
and with all your loves.
I am going to keep in my memory and in my heart that appreciation we had for each other and each of the good moments.
A hug to heaven,” was one of the posts on Facebook.
The volunteer firefighters of Exaltación de La Cruz issued a heartfelt statement on social networks: “With deep pain and regret, today we have to say goodbye to Robledo Héctor Gabriel, who belonged to the Exaltación de La Cruz Volunteer Firefighters Corps.
Our condolences to firefighter Guillermo, who is a brother and currently belongs to the active force."
The accident occurred on a straight line, in broad daylight and with good weather conditions.
The accident involved a Correo Argentino truck and the family's Peugeot 307.
The truck driver suffered minor injuries and was admitted to the local hospital.
