The death toll from the collapse on the construction site of an Esselunga supermarket under construction in via Mariti in Florence rises to four.
The firefighters, who worked among the rubble all night, recovered the body of one of the two missing people.
The searches continue to identify the last of the workers missing among the eight people overwhelmed by the collapse which was apparently caused by the failure of a beam.
Last night, the body of another of the victims already identified in the rubble late yesterday afternoon was also recovered by firefighters - 50 of them engaged in excavation search operations.
The toll at the moment is four dead, three injured and one missing.
Among the victims was a 60-year-old Italian, Luigi Coclite, the others of North African origin.
The three injured are Romanian.
Today, city mourning has been proclaimed in Florence - with a minute's silence at 3pm, with Mayor Dario Nardella who will be present in Piazza della Signoria - and regional mourning in Tuscany.
