A complicated weekend on the rails... and on the roads.
Bison futé predicts a difficult day for road traffic, classified red this Saturday in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, during this school holiday weekend for two zones, and against the backdrop of a strike at the SNCF.
In the Alpine region and “in both directions”, Bison Futé warns that “the axes connecting the ski resorts will be particularly congested throughout the day (A40, A43)”.

Around 9:45 a.m., Bison Futé counted a total of around a hundred kilometers of traffic jams.
The A43 between Isère and Savoie was particularly affected.
Furthermore, in the direction of returns, the day is classified orange in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes but also in Île-de-France.
“Traffic will be heavy on the A6 motorway between early afternoon and mid-evening,” indicates Bison Futé.
