A worker named EdisonMalaj, 54 years old, originally from Albania, died yesterday afternoon in Frascineto, in the Cosenza area, crushed by a concrete slab that fell from a crane.
The man, according to what the local press reports, was at work with other workers in the square of the former social wineries of Frascineto when, for reasons to be ascertained, the slab carried by the crane came off, hitting him directly.
The intervention of the 118 doctors was useless. The Carabinieri of the Castrovillari Company intervened on the spot, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office who opened a case.
