Women don't have a monopoly on beauty, it seems.
23 years ago, an entirely male competition, separate from Miss France (1993), decided to elect, each year, “the most handsome man in France”.
This Saturday, February 17, at the André Malraux Theater in Rueil Malmaison, Charles Stemper, originally from Rhône-Alpes, won the Mister France 2024 sash. The young man is 23 years old, he measures 1.79 m and weighs 74 kg and works as a salesman in a car dealership.
Single and without children, he succeeds the Corsican Lisandre Van Muylders.

In total, 31 candidates were selected this year to try their luck in the competition.
Each of them defended the colors of their regions.

The man who has just obtained a master's degree in international business has been defending a cause that is dear to him for several years: school bullying.
The latter explained that he did not have good memories of these years at school.
He is also involved with animals and volunteers at the Spa.
Eve Gilles
Created in 2001, Mister France receives more media attention than its female equivalent.
Indeed, Miss France, a competition created in 1993, had a resounding success, with leading figures like Geneviève de Fontenay at its head.
In 2023, Eve Gilles was crowned the most beautiful woman in France.
Strongly criticized for her weight and her haircut, the 20-year-old young woman reacted to the body shaming she is a victim of.
“They found me too thin, with too few shapes, they said I looked anorexic!”, she explained in the columns of
Paris Match
published at the end of December 2023. But I did not choose my body.
People love to criticize on social media, but they don't put themselves in our shoes.
It’s my metabolism: I just eat!”
