Primroses are a pretty houseplant for a limited time only.
Then they usually wither and can be planted in the garden for next year.
The primrose can thrive both in the house and in the garden.
If you see a nice copy in the supermarket now, you should grab it.
Because the early bloomers not only spread the spring mood with their colorful flowers - they can also be used after they have bloomed.

The primrose is considered a sensitive plant when cultivated as a houseplant.
It doesn't like it too warm, it shrinks from wet feet and will quickly wither if not cared for properly.
But luckily you can also put the primrose outside or plant it.
Please note the following points:
Most primroses are perennial.
However, the cup primrose is only an annual and must be replanted every year.
If the flower is no longer pretty a few weeks after purchase, you don't have to throw the plant away.
As
BR.de
reports, you can, for example, place the flower balls under a bush or on the edge of the lawn in the flower bed as soon as there is no longer any frost.
It will sprout again next spring.
However, make sure to choose a location that is not in direct sunlight.

Primroses that were already planted in the garden will also come back in the new year.
In autumn it seems as if they have died, but next spring they come back colorful and blooming.
The primroses make such a pretty ground cover.
The primrose can also find a new home on the balcony in a bucket or pot.
However, be careful not to put the primrose outdoors before March.
In addition, the location should not be on the south side, otherwise the sensitive flowers will burn.
You may want to cover the flowers over the winter.
