» There is joy, pride, and a little nervousness too, in Hélène Barillé's voice when she opens the doors to the production studio of the “Once Upon a Time…” saga.
Fifteen years after the death of Albert Barillé, creator of the most famous child scientist, she is piloting the new series, two new episodes of which will be broadcast at 7:15 p.m., every day except Saturday, on France 4. From football to the chocolate bar, including the lollipop, the drone, the diaper and the television, everyday objects will no longer hold any secrets for toddlers.
“I had to make this superb heritage my own,” smiles the woman who began by restoring the series created by her husband, from “Once Upon a Time… Man” in 1978 to “Once Upon a Time… Our Earth” in 2008, a few months before his death.
And what a legacy!
