Ira Von Furstenberg, actress and star of the jet-set in the 1970s, has died.
She was born in Rome on 17 April 1940.
She was the daughter of Prince Tassilo Fürstenberg and Clara Agnelli, sister of Gianni, sister of Egon and Sebastian.
In 1955 she married Prince Alfonso Ohehnlohe, with whom she had two sons: Christoph, who died in 2006 in Thailand, and Hubertus.
Last October, Princess Ira Furstenberg was awarded the Capri Person Award 2023 as part of the classic "Roma Fall Gala" event which annually kicks off the countdown to "Capri, Hollywood - the International film festival".
Together with her, the music icon Toni Renis and the historic president of the Capri Institute in the World Tony Petruzzi were awarded.
