yellow alerts for strong storms
for Monday in five provinces: Salta, Jujuy, Corrientes, Misiones and Tierra del Fuego.
According to the SMN, the warnings cover the central-west of Salta, north of Jujuy, northwest of Corrientes and all of Misiones and Tierra del Fuego.
These areas of the national territory will be affected by storms "some locally strong or severe", which will be accompanied "by
significant electrical activity, occasional hail
" among "intense gusts and abundant falls of water, in short periods."

Accumulated precipitation values are expected between 60 and 80 mm, which may be exceeded from time to time, according to the evolution in each of the regions.
The yellow level warns of possible meteorological phenomena "with the potential for damage and risk of momentary interruption of daily activities."
The SMN recommends in this regard "stay in closed constructions" such as private homes, schools or buildings, "stay away from electrical appliances" and avoid using wired telephones, and if there is a risk of water entering a house, " cut off the power supply."
In case of trips, it is indicated "to stay inside the vehicle and avoid driving on streets that are flooded or affected by inclement weather."
In turn, the meteorological agency recommends avoiding outdoor activities, not taking out the trash during that period and removing objects that prevent water from draining.
In addition, it suggests staying away from coastal and riverine areas, staying informed by the authorities and always having a backpack or emergency material ready, with a flashlight, radio, documents and telephone.
Finally, it is recommended not to take shelter near trees and electricity poles that may fall.
