  • 200g wholemeal flour

  • 100 g oat flakes

  • 50g flax seeds

  • 50 g sunflower seeds

  • 50 g pumpkin seeds

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 250 ml water

  • Optional: spices to taste (e.g. rosemary, thyme or sesame)

Preparing homemade crispbread is so easy:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

  • In a large bowl, mix whole wheat flour, oat flakes, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and salt.

    Add optional spices and mix everything well.

  • Slowly pour water over the dry ingredients and knead until all ingredients are evenly distributed and a firm dough forms.

  • Form a ball out of the dough, place it on the baking paper and place another piece of baking paper on top.

    Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough very thinly between the pieces of baking paper.

  • Remove the top baking paper and cut the dough into desired pieces with a knife or use cookie cutters.

  • Place the crispbread pieces on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.

  • Allow the crispbread to cool completely and then store in an airtight container.
