Rain, strong winds and snow return during the week.
Two different cyclones, in fact, are targeting Italy, bringing unstable and eventful weather throughout the second half of February.
This is what Antonio Sanò, founder of the website www.iLMeteo.it, announces.
"As early as today - he states - the weather conditions are expected to worsen with rainfall in particular in the central southern regions and on the two largest islands due to the passage of the first cyclone. Given the rather intense contrasts between different air masses We do not exclude the risk of intense phenomena, including thunderstorms."
On Tuesday 20th the effects of this first worsening will rapidly concentrate towards the southern regions
, where the day will pass under a thick carpet of clouds full of rain, including thunderstorms.
Instead, the sun will return to the Northern regions
and much of the Centre, despite the usual dangers caused by the intensifying fogs over the Po Valley and in the innermost areas of the Centre.
A second, much more intense disturbance is expected to arrive between Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd February
, destined to cause heavy rainfall and heavy snowfall in the mountains.
This second cyclone will also hit the North with increasingly widespread and locally heavy rainfall.
"Pay attention especially to Eastern Liguria and the Alps - continues Sanò - where snowfall may also occur above 1100-1300 meters above sea level".

- Monday 19th

In the north: scattered clouds especially in the north-east with occasional showers.
In the center: very cloudy.
In the south: increasing clouds, decreasing highs.
- Tuesday 20th
.
In the north: occasional drizzle in the Northeast, sunshine elsewhere.
Center: irregular clouds.
In the south: widespread instability.
- Wednesday 21st
.
In the north: initially sunny, then a general increase in cloud cover.
In the center: partly cloudy skies, stable weather.
In the south: good weather prevailing.
