Fans can't help but be amazed - and immediately want to get on their way.
Wittichenau – The small town of Wittichenau is located in Saxony and, according to official information, has 5,708 inhabitants.
It's quite possible that some visitors will rush in soon.
Because the place is suddenly getting more attention on Reddit.
Or better said: A schnitzel that a user claims to have bought there during carnival.
The post received more than 100 comments and more than 800 reactions via upvote/downvote in the first 18 hours.
4.50 euros for a XXXXXL schnitzel in Saxony: many fans are amazed
This ended up in the “schnitzel crimes” group, which is currently very popular.
There you can find good but expensive schnitzels from Munich as well as one at a surprisingly low price from a ski hut and one from Memmingen in Bavaria.
The community doesn't necessarily always live up to its name, but also collects particularly pleasing specimens.
What the user was presented with in Wittichenau is now astonishing.
Or as he puts it: “Wittichenau, carnival for 4.50.
Bigger than my head, completely absurd price.”
The schnitzel customer proves the price with a photo of the menu on display.
Many people agree with this in the comments.
“Damn, what do you get for 15 then?

Others rave: “That's how I like it: the bun just serves as a handle.

Schnitzel fans want to head straight to Saxony
In fact, some say they want to take the perhaps long journey to Wittichenau straight away.

One step back: Of course, nothing about the bargain schnitzel has been confirmed, neither the authenticity of the posting nor the price, which is, however, proven by a photo of the menu.
And the stand from Rose Monday will probably disappear soon anyway.
But the fact that the Fabel-Schnitzel really existed is shown by another user's post: “I was there myself and ate it.
It was from a local farm stand. It was delicious.
And the size is simply perfect!” Meanwhile, a Baltic Sea restaurant recently refused a children’s schnitzel to an adult – she was not amused.
