The French striker in fact stopped in the last minutes of the first half in the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid, valid for the first leg of the round of 16, after a shot towards the goal defended by Oblak.
Thuram, after returning to the pitch to finish the first half, was then replaced at half-time due to a "contracture in the right adductor to be evaluated in the next few days", as announced by the Nerazzurri club.
Marko Arnautovic came on in his place at the start of the second half.
Typical formation for Simone Inzaghi who, with all the players available except Acerbi, places De Vrij at the center of the defense, with Darmian preferred to Dumfries on the right lane.
