Wibke is desperate!

The Berlin smoker probably left a written DHL note on a mailbox - with a request that was important to her.

Berlin - What's in it is in it!

Once you put something in the mailbox, you won't be able to get it again.

This was evident once when a person left a note for the postal worker with an urgent request.

What appeared on the Instagram page “Notes of Berlin” goes in a similar direction.

The photo is said to have been taken on Markgrafenstrasse in Berlin.

Note on DHL note: Berlin smoker Wibke wants her cigarettes back

As is often the case, the authenticity cannot be verified and there are faint signs of a fake: Why is the note written on a DHL note?

Maybe the author happened to have one at home and thought it fit quite well.

In any case, it is written on it: “Dear postman, I accidentally threw my box of red Gauloises into the mailbox!

It would be so grateful...” It is signed with the name Wibke, including his last name (hidden in the photo), a thank you and a rather illegible note.

Smoker Wibke probably hopes that the postal worker will put the box in her mailbox.

Most of the commenters think the note is real and react with surprise.

“Oh my goodness.

“If losing a pack of cigarettes is so serious, you should think about giving up this expensive vice,” writes one user.

Another person says: “How do these people actually imagine logistics?

That a postman comes with a sack and then sets off on foot to deliver the box?” The latter received more than 250 “likes” in two days.

“I'm at a loss for words”: DHL note on mailbox in Berlin causes incomprehension

This comment gets more than 100 likes: “You could just wait at the mailbox during pickup times or leave a number if you're too lazy for that.

But then to think, that's the post office, they can also bring me my cigarettes." Another says in a long post: "I'm at a loss for words." One writes with several laughing emojis: "But how does this happen by accident ?”

Despite all the incomprehension, there is also some nice reading.

“Honestly, my postman would do that!” enthuses one of “his” person in charge.

“Nobody knows how well they might know each other, etc., and it’s worth a try.” A certain DHL courier is also celebrated by many – he once left an important clue about his cat.
