The metalworkers' unions Fim-Cisl, Fiom-Cgil and Uilm-Uil present the joint platform for the renewal of the contract, expiring on 30 June, for 2024-2027, which concerns more than 1.5 million workers.
On the salary front, the average increase request, relating to the three-year period, is equal to 280 euros on the minimum salary.
Among the main innovations is the request to experiment with the reduction of working hours with the same salary: "We ask that a phase of contractual experimentation be launched with the aim of progressively achieving a reduction in working hours to 35 hours per week".
