Recently arrived at the mayor of La Plata,
Julio Alak
promoted a series of audits in different departments of the city.
This Tuesday, while
a procedure was being carried out in the local cemetery
, a nauseating smell in the deposits alerted the authorities.
Upon entering, they made an aberrant discovery:
there were 501 coffins - 22 of them children's - and 200 consortium bags full of human remains
.
Many of them didn't even have names.
The discovery led the Municipality to file a
criminal
complaint
with the UFI on duty in which it requested the "investigation of possible illegal acts regarding the
unidentified
bodies and skeletal remains found."
The coffins and bags were found in spaces that
were not morgues nor were they intended for the preservation
of corpses or human bone remains, but rather were
deposits without any care
.
As detailed by the Provincial Directorate of Registry of Missing Persons of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, the remains were found in four different places, in which there were
coffins stacked indiscriminately and bones
scattered
on the ground
.
They were able to identify the children's drawers because they were labeled "angels"
There were human remains in consortium bags and scattered on the ground in deposits in the La Plata cemetery.
News in development.
