Lurisia, the historic Piedmontese brand that joined Coca-Cola in 2019, has signed an agreement with Italia Zuccheri - Coprob to cover 100% of the sugar needs necessary for the production of its premium drinks, such as chinotti, gazzosas, tonic waters, orangeades and lemonades .

The only short supply chain for Italian sugar, Italia Zuccheri-Coprob represents a cooperative of 7 thousand agricultural companies (of which 4 thousand are associated with the cooperative) present in the area which manage the supply of raw materials from certified sustainable agriculture and from a short supply chain.

This is a collaboration that fits well into the brand's strategy of using typical local Italian ingredients, making the brand, in its over 80 years of history, one of the excellences of the beverage industry at a national level.

The products in the Lurisia portfolio are inspired by authentic local recipes and contain the best local citrus fruits: Chinotto and Lurisia Tonic Water are in fact prepared with chinotti from the Slow Food Presidium of Savona;

Gazzosa Lurisia is produced with the sfusato Amalfi lemon, a variety of lemon grown for over 300 years on the terraces of the Amalfi coast.

The oranges used for the Aranciate Lurisia come from the best citrus groves on the peninsula - the juice of Italian oranges is combined with the extract of the Puglia orange for the classic version and the extract of the Puglia melon orange for the bitter version, while the Red Orangeade contains the juice of the "Sicilian Red Orange PGI".

Finally, the Limonade is born from the extracts of the three lemon blooms, the winter Primofiore, the Spring Lemon and the late summer Verdello, grown among the most evocative landscapes in Italy.
