Russian forces launched 23 kamikaze drones over Ukraine last night, all of which were shot down by Kiev's air defenses: the Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Telegram.
The Russians, he added, also attacked with two S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles from the Belgorod region and one Kh-31 guided missile from the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The 23 drones, of the Shahed type, were launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia) and were intercepted in the regions of Kharkiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv.
Meanwhile, Moscow claims to have intercepted a Ukrainian drone over the Russian region of Bryansk this morning and to have destroyed another over the Kaluga region.
"An attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack against Russian facilities with the help of fixed-wing drones was foiled," reads a statement from the Moscow Ministry of Defense cited by the Tass agency.
