World champion Francesco Bagnaia with his Ducati was the fastest on the last day of official MotoGP testing in Qatar before the start of the world championship, starting on the same Lusail track on the weekend of 8-10 March.
With a time of 1.50.952, the Piedmontese set the new absolute best time on the track and was the only one to go below 1.51, while his teammate, Enea Bastianini (1.51.072), remained just above and Aleix Espargaro (1:51.260) with the official Aprilia.
Behind that trio was Marc Marquez astride the Ducati of the Gresini team, followed closely by the Aprilias of Raul Fernandez, of the Trackhouse team, and of Maverick Vinales, of the official team.
Also among the top ten were the Ducatis of Jorge Martin (Pramac) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46)), the official Ktm of Brad Binder and the Ducati Vr46 of Marco Bezzecchi.
