Two out of three RATP unions have agreed to sign the agreement on compulsory annual negotiations providing for a salary increase of 100 euros gross per month for all agents, the Régie announced on Tuesday.

The representative trade union organizations FO and UNSA have signed the general management's proposal
”, rejoiced in a press release the RATP which operates part of the public transport in Paris and its suburbs.
“
In 2024, the average increase in employee remuneration will thus amount to 4.2%
”, assures the Régie, which recalls that remuneration had increased by 5.7% in 2023, after 5.2% in 2022. The salary increase will actually take place in two stages, first on June 1st for the first half, then on December 1st.
FO-RATP, the group's second union but first in management, was keen to point out "
that in the company's most successful periods, the maximum obtained was 45 euros (increase) for a salary of 3,000 euros
".
The union also insisted on the profit-sharing that employees should receive in 2024, “
a minimum of 1,100 euros
”.

The CGT-RATP did not sign the proposal
The CGT-RATP, the group's first union, did not sign the proposal which “
remains too far from agents' expectations
”.
The union estimates that with the staggering of the measure, the salary increase is actually equivalent to 1.3% over the year 2024. The CGT called for negotiations to continue.
At the end of January, she filed a notice running from February 5 to September 9, including the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, to denounce “insufficient” salary measures.
