Two weeks ago, M 6 brought together the press at the George V hotel to present some of the new features of season 15 of “Top Chef”, the broadcast date of which we learned today.

On the menu for the Six culinary competition, a certain number of new products.
Starting with a mechanism shaken up by the arrival of two new members of the jury, the chefs Dominique Crenn, first woman with three Michelin stars, and Stéphanie Le Quellec, winner of season two and double Michelin star.
Two newcomers who bring to 20 the total number of stars in the culinary guide weighed by this jury made up of the show's histories, Hélène Darroze, Philippe Etchebest, Paul Pairet and Glenn Viel.
Some will leave the competition from the first episode
Six stars for only two brigades, the Orange which will be led by the leaders, and the Gray which will be overseen by the leaders.
A mechanic that will last until each great leader takes charge of their own brigade during the game. Initially, each will have six members, while two solitary candidates will try to steal their place... From the first episode, some will have to leave the competition.
A major surprise from the chef, Pierre Gagnaire will enter competition for the first time during this special edition.
In the greatest secrecy, the chef, who today has 13 Michelin stars, led the hidden brigade inaugurated last year by Hélène Darroze in parallel with the official competition.
It's its turn to pit those eliminated from the main competition against each other in the second part of the evening.
In the end, there will only have to be one left, or one, who will re-enter the game at a fairly advanced level with this big name in gastronomy as brigade leader.

If last year, the eliminated candidates competed in a duel, this time there will be three to face each other during each broadcast of this hidden selection.

Every Wednesday evening, Danny Khezzar will also offer a recipe during this second part of the evening.
Several new features this season
Among the new features already announced, the black box event will be relocated for the first time and will be installed under the dome of the large stables of Chantilly (Oise), the “Who can beat?”
» will be double, with, on one side, a team formed by Dominique Crenn and Stéphanie Le Quellec and on the other, a shock tandem with Paul Pairet associated with Glenn Viel…
During the restaurant war, the candidates will have to cook for their families while the trompe-l'oeil becomes a trompe-l'oeil.
A palace cooking test will be held in the Orient-Express where Jean Imbert has taken charge of the kitchen, while the fifteen years of the program will be celebrated during a grand gala bringing together fifty former candidates from the show.
