The aid arriving in North Sinai - explained Shousha - is stored in a series of equipped logistics warehouses and subsequently transported to the Gaza Strip in coordination between the Egyptian Red Crescent, its Palestinian counterpart and the Organization for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA ), based on the most urgent needs of the civilian population of the Gaza Strip.

A logistics area - the governor recalled - is being set up in Egyptian Rafah, to receive aid and ease traffic and overcrowding in the city of Al Arish and on the roads leading to Rafah, and to facilitate the work of the Egyptian Red Crescent.

Israeli delegation in Cairo for negotiations on Gaza

A high-level Israeli delegation arrived in Cairo this morning, aboard a private plane from Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, for talks on the situation in the Gaza Strip.

Airport sources reported this to ANSA.

"The Israeli delegation arrived on board a private Hawker Beechcraft 400XP plane and was received at Cairo airport by senior Egyptian intelligence officials and escorted by a convoy of cars to the meeting place, where the ceasefire in Gaza and an agreement for the exchange of hostages and prisoners between Israel and the Palestinian factions.
