Injuries, arrests and complaints related to football matches are increasing.
This is highlighted by the new report from the National Observatory on sporting events which refers to the past football season.
A total of 2,662 matches were taken into consideration (381 Serie A).
All the data up: 233,999 law enforcement agencies employed (175,296 in the 2021-22 season).
There were 113 civilians injured (66 in the previous season); 147 law enforcement personnel were injured (72 in 2021-22);
2,011 people were reported (against 1,480) and 125 were arrested (against 59).
Also monitored - new to this edition of the report - were acts of racial, territorial and anti-Semitic discrimination: there were 126.
