National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued
yellow alerts for storms, rain and high temperatures
in Buenos Aires and six other Argentine provinces
this Tuesday .
In the latest report, published on Monday afternoon, the SMN warned that towns in the southwest of
Buenos Aires
, west of
Entre Ríos
and a large part of
La Pampa
may suffer
extreme heat
during the day.
In Buenos Aires territory, high temperatures will surround the towns in the north of Bahía Blanca, the west of Patagones and Villarino, Puán, along with the low and mountain areas of Coronel Pringles, Coronel Suárez, Saavedra and Tornquist, while the towns mainly affected In the coastal province they will be Paraná, Diamante, Villaguay, La Paz and Nogoyá.
The yellow level indicates, in extreme heat, a mild to moderate effect on health, because temperatures can be dangerous for risk groups, such as boys and girls, people over 65 years of age, and those with chronic diseases.

storms
for the afternoon and evening of tomorrow in the central-east and southeast of
Mendoza
, southeast of
Río Negro
, and east of
Chubut
.
Thus, storms, some locally strong, are expected for General Alvear and the lower area of San Rafael, in Mendoza, the Costa de San Antonio and Viedma, in Río Negro, and the eastern regions of Mártires, Telsen and Gaiman, along with the plateaus. from Ameghino and Rawson, in Chubut.
Meanwhile,
heavy rains
are forecast at night for the southeastern
Santa Cruz
region .
Specifically, precipitation is reported in the areas of Deseado and Magallanes, in the province of Santa Cruz, which may be accompanied by abundant falls of water in short periods, strong electrical activity, occasional hail and intense gusts.
The national meteorological organization estimated accumulated precipitation values between 20 and 50 millimeters, which could be exceeded from time to time.
In these cases, "possible meteorological phenomena with the potential for damage" and "risk of momentary interruption of daily activities" are expected.
