The disputes and nerves on the net came after she wondered aloud to herself at the end of the song:
"Isn't Gaza in Israel? Isn't everything on the same continent, the same piece of land surrounded by water?"

Well, she couldn't help but expect angry reactions from pro-Palestinian surfers, since it is known that disputes over land are a massive push to kill on the Internet, certainly in the current sensitive situation.
Haddish has been a passionate supporter of Jewish causes over the years - recently she chaired a Jewish fundraiser and called for the release of the Israeli hostages taken by Hamas on the seventh of October.
