The house of Balmain unveiled its Spring 2024 collection on the night of February 20 and with it, the face of its new muse.
It is therefore Gisele Bündchen, her 80 meter height and her endless legs, who were chosen to embody the brand's latest campaign: “rose garden”.
The Brazilian model appeared in the first images in mini dresses in bright colors, embroidered or with floral prints.
The photos are by Rafael Pavarotti, a famous fashion photographer who is also Brazilian.

In the caption of the photos published on his Instagram account, Olivier Rousteing, the director of Balmain, paid tribute to his new muse in these terms: “The super model: a friend, a muse, an icon”.
To which the latter replied: “It’s a pleasure for me to work with you and your incredible team!”
Beauty, happiness and confidence
In its press release, the house of Balmain described its new collection as embracing "the joy, femininity and exuberance" of the flower, stating that the Brazilian model was the ideal person to embody this.
“It's obvious that she's legendaryly beautiful, but her breathtaking beauty transforms into something even more powerful when paired with that authentic happiness and confidence that she's continually projected since more than twenty years, both on the catwalks and on the countless covers and magazines that I have always torn up and kept as a source of inspiration,” said Olivier Rousteing about the top model.
The “Jolie Madame” silhouette
On its Instagram account, the Balmain house provided some additional details concerning one of the key silhouettes of this new collection.
“This latest creation by Olivier Rousteing takes its name from the house’s iconic “Jolie Madame” silhouette, embodying a rich heritage in homage to the daring post-war creations of Monsieur Balmain,” we can read in the caption of the photo which shows Gisele Bündchen in a long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder mini dress, trimmed with floral embroidery.
