The statue of singer Amy Winehouse, located in the Camden Market district of London, was targeted by pro-Palestinians in London on Monday February 19.
The Star of David, worn as a pendant by the effigy, was covered with a sticker of the Palestinian flag.
“
We were alerted on Monday that someone had placed a sticker on the Star of David on the statue of Amy Winehouse
,” the Metropolitan Police said on social media.
It was immediately removed and the incident was reported.

deeply disturbing
” and likely to cause “
concern for many people, particularly within the Jewish community
”.

We are a government absolutely determined to fight anti-Semitism
,” the politician subsequently reported on the London channel.
