The second and final hearing on the final appeal of the defense of Julian Assange, Australian journalist and co-founder of WikiLeaks, against his highly contested extradition proceedings from the United Kingdom to the USA began this morning at the High Court in London.
If the appeal is not accepted, the possibilities for legal action in the British justice system would be exhausted.
Even today several protesters are gathered in front of the courthouse.
His wife, Stella Assange, told them the outcome is fraught with unknowns.
And that we need to protest, "showing that the world is watching, until Julian is free."
