Enrico Macias is 85 years old and has sixty years of experience, Joann Sfar is 52 years old and has thirty years of service.
But their complicity abolishes everything.
A few days ago, at the first's Parisian home, she caught our eye.
“It’s not just for the photo,” Enrico tells us, hugging the second in his arms.
“It’s funny, my father cupped my cheek like you,” Joann admits to him.
The two friends had not seen each other since December 11, when they went on stage at the Théâtre Déjazet (Paris, 3rd) to celebrate the singer's birthday, which the cartoonist had sketched live in great bursts of laughter and emotions.
We have brought about the reunion between these two popular artists for the release this Friday, February 23, of a CD box set and a series of thematic vinyls by Enrico Macias, once again illustrated by Joann Sfar.
The very prolific author is also releasing two new comics, “Les Idôlatres” and the 12th volume of his “Chat du rabbi”.
They are there to talk mainly about music, but their exchange quickly turns to their Jewish and Algerian roots, the massacres in Israel and Gaza, dialogue and peace above all else.
