Russian dissident Vladimir Kara-Murza, sentenced to 25 years in prison for speaking out against the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, declared on X that "Vladimir Putin is personally responsible for the death of Alexei Navalny".
This was reported in the online publication Meduza.
"One thing - wrote Kara-Murza - I know for sure: Vladimir Putin is personally responsible for the death of Alexei Navalny. Because Alexey was his personal prisoner. And only on his personal order could the poisoners of the second service of the FSB act; investigators, prosecutors and judges who handled cases and sentences; senior prison officials who created conditions of torture".
