A driver employed by an external company, Mattia Ottaviano, 36 years old, from Tuglie (Lecce), died this morning on the track of the Nardò Technical Center, the Porsche-owned testing center managed by Porsche Engineering. (HANDLE)


A driver employed by an external company, Mattia Ottaviano, 36 years old, from Tuglie (Lecce), died this morning on the track of the Nardò Technical Center, the Porsche-owned testing center managed by PorscheEngineering.

As far as we know, the test rider was riding a motorcycle which, for reasons currently being ascertained, collided with a car.

The driver of the car was injured.

Officers from the police station and the local police intervened on site.

Activities inside the track have currently been suspended.
