The Roma Whiskey Festival is back, an event open to the public and dedicated to the world of whisky, its lovers, producers, importers, distributors and bartenders.
The event, now in its 12th edition, is scheduled for Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February at the Salone delle Fontane.
The event includes the "Whisky & Lode" award, which will elect the best whiskeys of the show evaluated by a jury of experts according to the blind tasting rule, in four different categories: Best Scotch Whisky, Best Cask Strength, Best World Whiskey and Best American Whiskey.
New to the 2024 edition is the Vintage Area, dedicated to vintage bottlings and born from the collaboration with Oro Whiskey Bar. There is no shortage of stands and exhibitor spaces from the most important companies in the sector and master classes dedicated to sector professionals.
The calendar of the event also includes the "Abc of whisky", a mini introductory course for all beginners.
"In recent years - comments Andrea Fofi, founder and organizer of the event - the whiskey market, historically aimed at the narrow circle of great enthusiasts, has opened up to a greater number of consumers, a product which is today appreciated by both sexes and from all age groups."
