The two-hour national strike proclaimed by CGIL and UIL, together with the construction and metalworking categories, has begun after the tragedy in Florence last Friday, in which five workers lost their lives.

And they take to the streets demanding "No more deaths at work".

Various territorial events organized by the two unions, the main one in Florence, where the general secretaries Maurizio Landini and Pierpaolo Bombardieri will participate in the afternoon.

The protest will be held right near the site of the collapse.

In Rome, CGIL and UIL will be, again in the afternoon, in Piazza Santi Apostoli.

In Milan they will be in garrison in front of the prefecture.
