The Cevapcici from the Rewe own brand “ja!” are being recalled.
The reason: contained metal pieces.
The product could cause serious injury.
In a current warning, the manufacturer Tillman's announces that the popular “yes!”
Cevapcici” are not safe.
The reason for the alarm: There could be dangerous metal parts in the meat product.
Such a discovery poses serious risks when consumed and could lead to injury.
HEIDELBERG24 reveals which products require caution.
Recall from Rewe – metal parts in “yes!”
Cevapcici” from Tillman's
The Cevapcici from the Rewe house brand “ja!” are sold throughout Germany.
The product affected by the recall is the 1,000 gram pack with the EAN 4337256136457. As the manufacturer Tillman's Convenience GmbH reports, Rewe responded immediately to the danger and removed the affected product from the shelves as a precautionary measure.
Customers who have purchased the product are urged not to consume it.
Metal parts in food can pose serious health risks.
The metallic foreign bodies can cause injuries to the mouth and throat or even internal injuries and bleeding.
Bought the affected product – what to do
Tillman's Convenience therefore advises all consumers who are in possession of the affected “yes!”
Cevapcici” are to stop using them.
Instead, the “yes!”
Cevapcici” can be returned to any Rewe store.
The purchase price will be fully refunded, and as is usual with such recalls, without presenting the receipt.
Recalls of this kind happen again and again - most recently, numerous biscuits from different brands had to be withdrawn from sale, also because of metal parts.
