Finally a safe home for the little dog Koda.
His suffering ended when animal rights activists from Littlestepsmatter intervened.
The impressive video is going viral.
The dog is man's best friend.
But things aren't always so easy for four-legged friends, for example because their owners are allergic to the dog and hand it over to the animal shelter.
Or they are too big for their new master and end up back in the animal shelter after a short time.
But things can also go differently, as the case of Koda shows.
Dog rescuer Niall Harbison posted a video on
showing the dog's miraculous transformation.
He writes: “This is little Koda, who wasn't supposed to be here today, but thanks to the wonderful people at Littlestepsmatter, he has made a wonderful recovery and now even has a forever family.
The transformation is truly like something out of a movie.”

Animal rights activists save the dog's life: Koda even finds a new family
And in fact, in the first shots, Koda hardly looks like a dog.
His fur looks disheveled and dirty.
He sits in the corner, scared and shaking.
But over time, the velvet paw develops splendidly thanks to the care of Littlestepsmetter.
After a while, Koda is running around again and is really blossoming.
He trusts his rescuers, lets himself be petted and plays with other dogs.
The ugly duckling has become a beautiful swan that has found a new home.
Without the help the dog received from Littlestepsmetter, this probably wouldn't have been the case.
Instagram users are thrilled with Koda's transformation: "It's a miracle"
“I'm excited about their work because they focus on the streets and help the dogs with food and sterilization,” says Harbinson, praising the work of the Vancouver animal rights activists.
