Dani Alves was sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison for rape.
For the former Barcelona and Juventus footballer, accused of sexually assaulting a 23-year-old girl in the bathroom of the reserved area of the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on 30 December 2022, the Barcelona court also ordered 5 years of probation, after the end of the penalty, and 9 years of obligation to move away at least 1 km away from the victim's home, in addition to 150,000 euros in compensation for damages.
